How to Cancel a Print Job in Windows 10

If you are having problems with a printer or print job, cancelling a print job in Windows 10 is very easy. Open the Printers & scanners pane, right-click the appropriate printer and select Open queue. Then select the document and choose cancel from the Document menu.

  1. Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners.
  2. Select your printer from the list and choose Open queue. A window opens showing the print queue, which is the list of files to be printed.

  3. Select the print job, go to Document menu and choose Cancel.

To cancel all print jobs in the print queue, select Cancel All Documents from the Document menu.

If  a print job stuck in the queue and cannot delete it, turn the printer off and then on again.
