How to Clear CMD Screen in Windows
After you execute several commands, you might find that the CDM screen is getting difficult to work with. So cleaning up the screen every once in a while is a good idea.
To clear the CMD, type
cls, and press Enter.
Similar to the Linux clear command, The CLS clears the CMD for you so you can continue working efficiently. This also works on PowerShell.
Note that, the CSL doesn’t clear the command history, It just clears the screen and the screen buffer. You can still press the Up and Down arrows to move between CMD history.
Windows command prompt, also known as CMD, is a command-line interface to manage the Windows operating system. It has mostly been replaced by PowerShell, but still an important component of the Windows 10 operating system.
